How does a Protect Clean-Off-Zone work?
Protect Clean-Off-Zone is constructed so that it brushes off the dirt and moisture by friction between surface and shoes, collects it and prevents spreading.

It is very important that there is a good balance between:

- A dense enough construction the fibers will not start "leaning."

- Open enough to allow dirt to fall into the bottom

- It is important that the backing does not let any water or moisture through that could otherwise puddle under the Protect Clean-Off-Zone.

This is how the Protect Super Clean-Off-Zone works:

1. Yarns – BCF polyamide
2. Trapped dirt and water
3. Non-woven polyester scrim
4. Flexible, waterproof vinyl backing

Because of the content of dirt on the bottom of the Clean-Off-Zone (up to 4 to 5 kgs per square meter) regular cleaning is required in order to keep the Protect Clean-Off-Zone active. Protect Clean-Off-Zones can be cleaned easily by following carpet cleaning procedures.
